Ruwac Wet Vacuums: WSP Series
The Wet Vacuum is designed for the pickup of liquids and solids. Unlike many industrial vacuums, emptying our machine is simple. Liquids are emptied by our powerful return pump at 38 gallons a minute. A manual blast gate is also supplied as a drain option. Solids are then emptied by a foot activated lever with an 8” discharge, ensuring that all solids are removed from the cyclone bottom. This engineered emptying mechanism allows the operator to empty the vacuum without ever taking the machine apart or resting the vacuum heads on the ground, potentially causing loss of vacuum and dented float assemblies. If the operator wanted to rinse the inside of the unit with a hose, the motor deck can be easily removed by releasing two latches allowing easy access.

A - Modular Oval Construction, designed for flexibility, upgradeable
Our modular oval construction offers the maximum design flexibility. Changes to the vacuum can easily be made in the field. Ie: change
motor decks.
Oval vs Round
Our industrial vacuums were brilliantly engineered using the “Oval Principle”. Many other industrial vacuums are constructed using a standard round collection container, adding a filter and a motor. Ruwac’s are constructed with an oval shaped housing.

B - Fiberglass Reinforced Compression Cast Composite, will not Rust!
Ruwac manufactures all of our machines out of a compression cast composite. This material is put into a press at 900 tons of pressure, insuring a precise mold every time. The material will not rust, is dent free, and abrasion resistant. We warranty all compression cast components for life, guarantying you a long lasting vacuum.

C – 8” Bottom discharge for solids

Sludge and collected solids can be discharged by using the foot lever actuated dump valve

D – Tip resistant counter-balanced base.
E – Powerful By-pass vacuum producer
Ruwac’s wet industrial vacuum cleaners use only the highest quality dual stage by-pass motors available. These individually cooled motors bring in outside fresh air to cool the motors. Cheaper flow through type motors use the vacuumed air to cool the motors, and if they do not filter well, all that dust goes through the motor too.
F - 2.0" bottom liquid discharge

G - 2" Vacuum inlet
H – Heavy duty non-marking casters: rear with pneumatic tires
Ruwac vacuums have large heavy duty non-marking swivel casters on the front and large heavy duty pneumatic tires on the rear. Large rear tires allow the wet vacuum to handle many different terrains. They are very durable and stay on!
I – Positive closer float
The Wet vacuums have a float shutoff to prevent overflowing.

J – Optional 38 gallon/minute return pump available for both models.

Ruwac in Action
When the Wilshire hotel in Beverly Hills,CA required a vacuum for their kitchen wash down, they relied on Ruwac. Prior to contacting Ruwac they had been using other drum style vacuums with an extremely high burn out rate. The WSP series allowed them to safely remove the material into the fiberglass housing. Maneuverability was a cinch even up and down stairs. The pump allows for the liquids to be safely disposed of without manual lifting. With multiple units in place, cleaning up water from any area of the facility is now made simple.
RECENT APPLICATIONS:
Removal of liquids from pressure washers
Vacuum and pumping water from rooftops
Vacuuming and pumping liquids from a parts washer
