Flexi-Vac Swing Arms provide 1600 square feet of coverage and can provide all utilities overhead. (VACUUM, COMPRESSED AIR, AND ELECTRIC)

Ruwac Vacuum Assist (VA) Models are researched and produced for specific use with qualified Vacuum Systems, or with qualified Portable Vacuums, ONLY. VA (Vacuum Assist) models may be used for non-vacuum sanding projects, optionally. It is important that all Vacuum Models be maintained scrupulously, with particular emphasis on keeping the vacuum hoses and sander vacuum functions clean.

Ruwac Vacuum Assist (VA) Models come complete with a Connector compatible with the industry-standard 1-1/2" Vacuum Hose, and an appropriate Pierce Plate for perforating standard sandpaper. (NOTE: Where pre-perforated abrasives are used, the pierce plate may be used to facilitate loading the paper,i.e. reverse the pre-perforated paper onto the pierce plate and use to center holes in pad.)

Ruwac in Action

When Westfield Vocational needed to install a vacuum system in their auto body shop, they looked to Ruwac. The installation was unique in that there were to be 10 operators on vacuum assist sanders while one additional operator would vacuum out vehicles. It made perfect sense to install multiple flexi-vac swing arms along the walls providing coverage to the entire shop. At the end of the day the swing arms are folded up against the wall to avoid any interference. Not only is this a major savings in that all systems are included in one single workstation, this optimization and convenience has increased production times dramatically.
